What are Meta Tags?
Meta tags defines information about the webpage in the HTML document. This information is called "metadata" , metadata will not be displayed on the page. But metadata can be read by search engines and web crawlers.
Meta tags always go inside the head element, and are typically used to page title, page description, keywords, author of the document, and viewport settings.
Search engines such as Google use metadata from meta tags to understand additional information about the webpage. Metadata is used by browsers (how to display content or reload page), search engines (ranking purposes).
